Contractor Web Zone - Terms of Service

Welcome to Contractor Web Zone! By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should discontinue use of our services.

1. Services Provided
Contractor Web Zone provides subscription-based website creation, hosting, email, and other web solutions for contractors and businesses in related industries. Our core services are provided on a month-to-month basis, with additional marketing, geopinning, and customer review services available as optional add-ons.

2. Base Services ($99.95/month)
Effective April 1, 2026, all hosting accounts are enrolled in the Contractor Web Zone Base Services plan at $99.95 per month.
Base Services includes the following:
Premium U.S.-Based Hosting: Dedicated resources with built-in security, SSL configuration, and standard uptime monitoring.
U.S.-Based Customer Support: Unlimited support for email, troubleshooting, DNS assistance, and technical help during standard business hours (Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Central). Includes up to one (1) hour of minor website edits per billing cycle.*
Business-Class Email: Two (2) hosted business email boxes per account. Additional mailboxes may be added at current published rates.
Contractor Portal Access: Access to account management tools, billing, and service request submissions through the Contractor Portal.
ContractorCred Review System: Built-in access to ContractorCred, including:
Automatic display of verified reviews from Google, Facebook, Angi, and BBB.
The ability for website visitors to submit new reviews.
The ability for account holders to respond to reviews within the platform.
*New catalog additions, structural modifications, or service expansions are considered project work and are available for a one-time flat fee of $149 per item or at Contractor Web Zone’s standard hourly rate, depending on scope.

3. Fair Use of Support & Service Requests
Contractor Web Zone provides ongoing support for routine updates such as text edits, image swaps, troubleshooting, email assistance, DNS help, and standard maintenance tasks. To ensure fair and consistent service across all clients, support usage is subject to the following Fair Use guidelines:
Support Time Limits: Standard support includes up to 1 hour per month of website edits or updates. Requests that exceed this limit or require significant design, restructuring, or development work may be billed at our hourly rate.
Non-Cumulative Support: Unused support time does not roll over month to month. Support allotments reset with each billing cycle.
Standard Support Scope: Standard support covers minor adjustments only and does not include:
Design refreshes
Layout restructuring
Template changes
Visual overhauls
SEO rewrites or strategy updates
Large batch content uploads
New page templates
These items are considered billable project work.
Excessive or High-Volume Requests: Request patterns that significantly exceed normal usage or disrupt service delivery for other clients may be deferred, limited, or billed as project work at Contractor Web Zone's discretion.
Turnaround Times: Standard updates are completed within normal service windows. High-volume or complex requests may require scheduling or formal project scoping.

4. Add-On Services
In addition to our Base Services, marketing solutions are available as optional add-ons at an additional cost. These services include:
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Google Ads / Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Campaign Management
Social Media Management and Content Scheduling
These services are tailored to meet each client's goals and may include strategy development, reporting, content creation, and ongoing optimization.
All subscription fees and charges for marketing services are detailed on our website and will be billed to your preferred payment method each month unless canceled in writing.

5. No Contracts & Month-to-Month Billing
Contractor Web Zone operates on a month-to-month basis with no long-term contracts. You are free to cancel your subscription at any time. Billing occurs monthly on the same date each month as your initial signup, and your subscription will automatically renew each month unless canceled before your renewal date.

6. Cancellation Policy
To cancel your subscription, log in to your account and follow the cancellation instructions or contact our support team at (847) 850-0052 ext 300 or support@contractorwebzone.com.
Standard Services: Cancellations for website hosting, email, and other Base Services must be completed at least 5 business days before your next billing date to avoid charges for the following month.
Marketing Services: For marketing services involving hard costs, such as those using Google services, cancellations require 15 business days' notice before the next billing cycle. This notice period is necessary to manage commitments and associated costs.
Please note that all payments made prior to cancellation are non-refundable.

7. Billing & Payment
By subscribing, you agree to pay all charges associated with your account. Contractor Web Zone accepts various payment methods as indicated in the Contractor Portal. By providing a payment method, you authorize Contractor Web Zone to charge your method for the fees due, including for add-on services, until you cancel.
If your payment is declined or fails, we will attempt to contact you to resolve the issue. Contractor Web Zone reserves the right to suspend your account and access to services if payment is not received.

8. Account & Service Access
Access to Contractor Web Zone services requires an account, which you are responsible for maintaining securely. You agree to use the services provided for lawful purposes only. Contractor Web Zone reserves the right to terminate accounts for any misuse or violation of these Terms.

9. Service & Pricing Modifications
Contractor Web Zone reserves the right to modify, update, restructure, or discontinue any aspect of its services, including but not limited to pricing, included features, service tiers, support structure, or availability.
Subscription fees are subject to change. In the event of a pricing adjustment, notice will be provided via email or posted within the Contractor Portal at least thirty (30) days prior to the effective date.
Continued use of services after the effective date of any pricing or service modification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms and fees.
If you do not agree to a modification, your sole remedy is to cancel your subscription prior to the effective date.

10. Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Contractor Web Zone shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of data, interruption, or inability to access services.

11. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and services provided by Contractor Web Zone, including but not limited to website design, branding, and proprietary software, are the property of Contractor Web Zone. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our intellectual property without written permission.

12. Privacy Policy
Your use of our services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including texting consent data. By using Contractor Web Zone, you consent to our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Washington state. Any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Washington state.

14. Changes to Terms
Contractor Web Zone reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. In the event of a material change, notice will be provided through our website or by email. Continued use of our services following any such change constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. SMS Communications (Client Requests Only)
Contractor Web Zone may send text messages only to clients, partners, or affiliates who have specifically requested communication via SMS.
Messages are limited to service notifications, project coordination, or account-related updates.
Message frequency varies.

You may opt out any time by replying STOP or contacting info@contractorwebzone.com.
Reply HELP for assistance.
Text message consent is never shared with any third parties, including subsidiaries or affiliates.
